Ministries

At Berean Baptist Church, we are determined to have "something for all ages". With the ultimate goal of honoring God, and reaching souls for the Kingdom of Heaven, Berean Baptist Church is engaged in all forms of reaching our "Jerusalem" with the Gospel of Christ. To that end, the following ministries are available for church members and visitors:

Sunday School teachers dwell on the stories of the Old and New Testaments. The journeys of the Apostle Paul, the judges of Israel, her kings and prophets, wars and victories, failures and revivals, the patriarchs of Israel, and, of course, the life of Christ!

Young people are encouraged to be faithful in church attendance, in singing, in giving, and in personal devotion to the Lord. Junior Church is a fun and exciting time for young people to hear preaching about the virtues and vices of worldliness, friends, priorities, respect, authority, God's Word, the Christian walk, and many other crucial, Bible topics. Singing, games, preaching, drilling and Scripture memory all combine to challenge each young person to stand before the Lord in uprightness, and to take pleasure in God.

With an outreach to the Hill Air Force Base, the College and Career folks meet often to enjoy each other's fellowship and to encourage each other in the Christian walk. This ministry is frequented by young airmen stationed at Hill Air Force Base. Airmen are welcomed into the church and frequently into the homes of it's members.

At Berean, young people have a unique opportunity to learn to serve God within the shelter and safety of a New Testament local church. Berean Baptist Church seeks to train young people according to the Bible in a Christian world view. Our goal is that our young people may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

Each Sunday, the choir lifts its voices in obedience to God's Word and worships God in song. Members are encouraged to serve God in this capacity because God loves to hear us sing in the congregation.
Psalm 149:1 Praise ye the LORD. Sing unto the LORD a new song, and his praise in the congregation of saints.
